This class is specifically designed for dogs who bark, lunge, etc. to other dogs and/or people while on leash. Typically, these dogs have some type of fear based behavior on leash. 

This is a two-trainer course; limited to 4 dogs per class. 

Prerequisite - at least 1 private training session with one of our trainers!

Week 1 - NO DOGS. This is our human only orientation. We will discuss our tools for success and discuss the set up for class starting week 2. 

Any dogs who have a bite history will be required to wear a basket muzzle. It is expected that the owner desensitize their dog to the basket muzzle before class. Basket muzzles may also be recommended for dogs without a bite history as they can provide a safety barrier when walking in close quarters with other dogs. 
 
Special safety precautions will take place to aid in setting our dogs up for success. The GOAL of this class is to NOT have them react! It will take coordination and listening to your instructor who will tell you when and where to go with your dog at all times. 

Skills practiced in this class: 

• leash walking skills  
• attention behaviors - name, eye contact, hand target
• go to place 
• engage/disengage game

all while being in the presence of other dogs and being rewarded for not reacting. 

You will learn management and training techniques to help aid your dog in your every day life. This class takes consistency and dedication and you will be expected to work with your dog throughout the week based on the information you are given in class.
