This is our beginner level 1 class, open to dogs of all ages.
This class is 7 weeks; 45 minutes each week.
Week 1 is human only orientation. Dogs attend week 2-7.
Cost is $315. Classes fill up quickly.

Cost includes the following training supplies: Freedom No-Pull front connect Harness, welcome bag with training clicker, drag line leash, treat apron, sample of high value treat reward, orientation packet, and PAWS training manual PDF.
Vaccine history must be presented (minimum of Distemper, rabies, and negative fecal within the last 6 months). Bordetella or Kennel Cough vaccine is required. We also recommend the canine influenza but this is not required. Please discuss pros and cons of this vaccination with your veterinarian.
IF your dog OVER REACTS to strangers and or other dogs then you will be better served calling to schedule private sessions first then once you and your dog have basic foundation skills you can register for our Reactive Rover dog classes. If you are unsure which class is appropriate please call 781-837-1510 to schedule a 30 minute evaluation, the fee is $50.
We will discuss problem behaviors like over-arousal and jumping up.
Training classes will cover and elaborate on “click for calm”, incompatible behaviors, attention work including name response and eye contact, basic cues like sit, down, stand, touch, stay and recall. More complex behaviors like mat work, loose leash walking, greeting behaviors and impulse control behaviors like off/wait, leave it and sit and wait for dinner are trained.
It is recommended to follow up with either Curbing Adolescence or Good Manners level 2.
